INVITATION TO MINEX CENTRAL ASIA 2018 FORUM

The 9th Central Asia Mining and Exploration Forum will be held on 17-19 April 2018 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Organised under the central theme “Central Asia – moving up with the buoyant markets” the Forum will offer an industry-wide discussion on strategic rethinking of mining industry development and will highlight emerging investment and technological opportunities across the mineral-rich countries of Central Asia.

MINEX Central Asia Forum regularly brings together over 300 government regulators, mine operators, prospectors, geologists, investors, experts, financiers and service companies from Central Asia, CIS and overseas. Read more

MINEVENTURE – THE 3RD MINING VENTURE PROJECTS ACCELERATOR COMPETITION

The main goal of MineVenture is to select promising projects and provide the subsoil users, potential investors and independent consultants with a platform for discussing the ways to bring these projects to the implementation level.

The Subsoil users raising finance for mining projects are invited to pitch investors at the 3rd MineVenture business accelerator competition. All projects must be submitted for review by 15 March.

MINETECH - MINING CHALLENGES COMPETITION

To accelerate transfer of the new technologies and support innovation in Central Asia’s mining sector, MINEX Forum Secretariat will be organising the 2nd MineTech Mining challenges competition.

Mining companies looking for ingenious and unorthodox technological solutions are invited to participate in MineTech as Challengers by offering challenges. All challenges must be submitted before 1 March 2018. Read more

Companies interested in assessing inventions and technologies proposed for MineTech competition are invited to contact before 1 March 2018 the Forum organisers to discuss participation options. Read more

Companies and start-ups looking for practical implementation of their inventions are invited to pitch major mining companies at the MineTech Central Asia mining challenges competition. All presentation applications must be submitted before 15 March. Read more

MINING PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

The 6th Central Asia Mining Photography competition “Prospector. Miner. Metallurgist” is organised alongside the Forum with the view of presenting mineral wealth and diversity of Central Asia’s mining and metals industry as it is seen by people working at the mining and metallurgical enterprises. The Forum organisers are calling on amateur photographers to submit their works by 30 March. Read more
