The Forum’s openness in addressing problematic issues combined with the business-focused format received welcome from the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources. In the open letter addressed to the Forum participants, the Deputy Minister Denis Khramov refers to MINEX Russia Forum as one the most important events for Russia’s mining industry and expects productive dialogue with companies and international investors on the proposed subsoil use changes and strategic development of Russian Eastern territories.

Resources and Reserves reporting and audit practices in Russia will be examined at the Master Classes organised by IMC Montan, Mircomine and AMC Consultants
Application of modern methods slope design in Russia will be presented at the master class jointly organised by SRK Consulting and Polymetal Engineering, CJSC.
Investment infrastructure of subsoil use in Russia will be discussed at the “by invitation only” Seminar organised by the Economic section of the Russian Experts Society for Subsoil Use (OERN)

Events on 7 and 8 October
Forum
The main forum program consists of 12 plenary and technical sessions. Speakers will be addressing specific technical and non-technical areas related to mining and exploration practices in Russia.
The Forum will conclude with the Russian Mining Excellence Gala Dinner on 8 October. The Gala dinner program includes presentation of the Russian Mining Excellence and Mining Amateur Photography awards.

Exhibition
Over 30 Russian and International mining, service and technological companies will be exhibiting at MINEX Russia 2015.
