Dow to Highlight Separation Technologies at Mining World Central Asia


Moscow – September 18, 2012 – Dow Water & Process Solutions (DW&PS), a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow), will showcase its high-class separation technologies for mining at Mining World Central Asia 2012, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on September 19-21.

“The Kazakhstan mining industry is a key platform for growth and further development of Dow Water & Process Solutions business. Dow will highlight its specialized separation technologies such as water management and acid recovery that can help boost operational excellence in mining. Visitors to Mining World Central Asia can expect to gain information about a variety of Dow liquid separation technologies for mining including:

  • AMBERSEP™ and DOWEX™ ion exchange resins for primary recovery in gold and uranium mining

  • Nanofiltration Membranes for acid recovery

  • Membranes for mine water management.
